Individual Therapy

I am passionate about my role as a therapist. I believe therapy should offer support, compassionate space for growth, personal challenge and hope. Our collaborative relationship will be fostered through exploration of the self, life story, human connections and your values. We will highlight your strengths, resilience and coping skills while also identifying new tools that will help with distress, desired change and life’s obstacles.

My experience in the University of Washington network and outpatient behavioral health has provided me a background in informal group cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and value-based behavior activation as well as crisis response. These clinical approaches are supported by further training on topics of systemic oppression with The People’s Institute NW and National Coalition Building Institute. I bring an understanding of how our personal struggles are connected to family systems, inter-generational trauma and societal issues. My approach emphasizes the value of treating the whole self. In our sessions we will look for intersectionality and patterns. As you develop greater insight and awareness, you will realize authentic transformation, deeper human connection and achievement of your goals.
