I was born and raised in the PNW.  I have always had a heart for people.  After completing undergraduate school at the University of Washington I spent a year backpacking and volunteering in Ecuador and Peru.  Following my time abroad, I returned to Seattle with a new energy to serve in my home community.

My career in social services started in a shelter in Pioneer Square and has led me to a number of years with the University of Washington and its sister medical centers including Northwest Hospital and Harborview.  Each new step in my career provided new opportunities to stretch and sharpen my clinical skills and therapeutic perspective.  I love my work and the partnerships that are created through my practice.

I am an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoy taking pictures of my experience.  I am currently training for a marathon and love to challenge myself physically.  I am also always looking for educational and growth opportunities in my community.  If I'm not out and about you can typically find me at home.  I love spending time in my kitchen and my garden.
